    • 2007 new Yanmar 35 hp diesel installed along with new fuel tanks, new stuffing box, shaft and Luke feathering prop.
    • The decks were redone using Dynel & Epoxy.
    • The cabin top is canvas over mahogany and needs some work as there are signs of cracking in the paint.
    • Last in the water in 2019, but she has not dried out.
    This particular vessel received a complete refit in 2007-2008 including re-powering, new decks - hence all deck equipment re-bedded, new standing rigging, new sails and new winches. All of the original bronze fittings are in sound condition and contribute to the classic feel of the vessel.  New canvas and cushions, new head and holding tank, new batteries and electronic navigation gear. The main mast was stripped, refinished and the equipment re-bedded. It does have "concordia sickness" with several floors needing replacement, a new horn timber, and iron keel bolts replaced."

  • 2014 Beautifully Restored Quincy Adams Daysailer Length: 26'.6" LWL: 17'.3" Beam: 6' Draft: 4'6" In 2019, a Torqeedo 2.0 electric pod drive system was installed by East Passage Boatworks. This includes the pod drive, the controller, battery and solar panels, and charge controller.The International Yacht Restoration School in Newport, RI built an entirely new boat from the original, using the old pattern. Typical of IYRS. the new yacht is built to a high standard. Plank on frame construction with cedar planking on steam bent oak frames. Bronze fastened. Mahogany deck house. Cockpit seats with upholstery. Boom tent.This class was designed by Fred Goeller in 1945 for the Fisher's Island Yacht ClubMany were built by the Quincy Adam's Yacht Yard for the club in the 1940's. Their part in history is stamped at the New York Yacht Club with a half model in the trophy room. Excellent condition. August 2020 survey available.
