The Topknot 32 was designed and built by Sam Devlin of Olympia, WA for a customer in New England that wanted a comfortable boat for day trips or an occasional overnight stay. She features an extra large cockpit with hardtop for protection from the elements and an aft daybed for lounging while underway or at anchor.

The pilothouse offers ample and comfortable seating for the skipper and mate. The spacious cabin includes a galley with settees for dining or an overnight stay and a head which is located forward for maximum privacy while underway.

This Devin Top Knot 32 has always enjoyed inside storage in the winter. She is truly a "modern classic" and is in remarkable condition. She has less than 275 hours on the engine.

She has her head forward with marine toilet, sink, counter and cabinet, chain locker mirror and towels racks.

Her main cabin has port and starboard settee berths with storage beneath. Next aft is the Galley which includes a sink, 2 burner Force 10 propane stove, Corian countertop and ample storage in cabinets to port and an under the counter Nova Cool refrigerator and electronics station.

Up two steps to the pilothouse with comfortable helm seat and mate seat opposite. The spacious cockpit provides ample room for 6 to 8 people and the engine box aft provides additional seating for 3 to 4 people to relax.

In 2007 she was outfitted with new dark green window curtains and a privacy curtain was added separating the helm station from the salon.

How does the charter/sale arrangement work?

Most boats can be purchased for their current appraised value or chartered on a long term basis (minimum three years) with an option to purchase. The purchase price of chartered vessels is usually established at the beginning of the lease and reflects the anticipated market value of the boat three years hence. If a charterer elects to exercise the option and purchase the vessel at the end of the charter, all charter payments are credited against the agreed upon purchase price. There are no interest charges or financing fees, etc. The charterer may also choose not to exercise his or her purchase option, in which case the security deposit will be returned.  Charter payments will be kept as charter hire. Broker commissions are generally paid in full at the commencement of the charter. For more information, please contact us by email or call us at (401) 842-0752.
