This is a 1981 C& C 36 with the keel centerboard option. The C& C 36 was one of C& C’s most popular models because of its combination of performance, comfort and value. This boat has a roller furling mainsail system which makes it extremely easy to handle shorthanded while still retaining excellent sailing qualities. The moderate shoal draft allows for cruising and gunk-holing in many places that the deep draft cruisers can’t go.
There is a forepeak locker at the bow, followed by a double stateroom with hanging locker and drawers on the starboard side. After the forward bulkhead is the enclosed head containing a vanity sink and shower and a marine toilet. Opposite the head is a large hanging locker. Aft of the head compartment bulkhead is a dinette with folding table. Opposite on the starboard side is a berth, aft of the starboard berth is the nav station, followed by two berths. The port side contains a galley unit with stainless steel sink, three burner propane stove and oven, and large top loading ice box. There are ample storage shelves and lockers throughout the vessel.
