1972 ORIGINAL HERRESHOFF ROZINANTE

$18,000

This boat, the “Rozinante”  was originally commissioned by L. Francis Herreshoff as his personal vessel. The 1972 L. Francis Herreshoff canoe yawl design is regarded by many as the most beautiful lines ever drawn. She has a relatively deep draft of 3’ – 9”, and a large rig to carry clouds of sail. She is known to be an exceptionally sweet sailing vessel. She can be used for extended coastal cruising or day sailing with her snug cabin large enough to sleep 2 people. The large, deep cockpit provides a comfortable secure feeling underway. A boom-tent provides additional accommodations on a clear night. The rig is designed for quick reduction of sail area and various ways to balance the sail plan for tight quarters maneuvering. Lastly, Rozinante can move alonge quite well under the power of oars if the wind should die down.

Located at Yankee Marina in Yarmouth, ME.
